Ingredients
- 1/4 cup (60g) unsalted butter
- 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 6 Tbsp your favorite Cup of Coa flavor
- 1/2 cup (90g) dark chocolate, chopped
- Optional: flaky sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions
- Prep pan: Coat a 9×13-inch pan with butter or line with parchment paper.
- Melt butter & marshmallows: In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add marshmallows and stir constantly until smooth and fully melted. Save a handful of mini marshmallows and toss them in your cereal for extra gooey chunks.
- Add Cup of Coa: Remove pan from heat, then stir in your favorite Cup of Coa flavor until fully incorporated.
- Mix in cereal: Fold in Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated with the marshmallow-chocolate mixture.
- Press into pan: Using a buttered spatula or wax paper, gently press mixture into prepared pan. Avoid pressing too firmly to keep treats soft and chewy.
- Drizzle chocolate: Melt dark chocolate in a microwave or double boiler. If using a microwave, stir every 15 seconds to prevent burning. Drizzle over the top of the treats, or dip edges for a more decadent presentation. Allow chocolate to set at room temperature.
- Optional finishing touch: Sprinkle lightly with flaky sea salt after topping with chocolate to enhance the chocolate flavor.
- Cut & serve: Let treats cool completely (about 1 hour), then cut into squares and enjoy.
